The role is fast-paced and exciting, working with a large talent pool of education professionals dispersed across a large area.

New Directions has been recruiting and placing education professionals in local schools across the Wirral from our office in Ellesmere Port. An opportunity has now become available for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join the branch.

You will cover a busy desk and will require strong rapport building, negotiation and recruitment skills to build on the business in place. This will involve a mixture of candidate recruitment, account management of existing business and business development to generate new business for your desk. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruitment sales, preferably in the Education sector or a similar temps-focused Recruitment Consultant or Account Manager role along with a full UK driving license.

This role will involve:

  • Building and developing strong working relationships with schools through regular calls, client presentations and visits (in the future)
  • Working with schools to service existing business by matching and placing candidates into suitable roles
  • Generating new business through contacting non-using and lapsed schools
  • Recruiting education professionals to build your talent pool to meet school staffing requirements
  • Filling bookings taken from schools by effectively matching candidates to the placements provided
  • Meeting and exceeding your set key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets on a weekly basis

On offer is a negotiable basic salary (dependent upon experience) in addition to a lucrative commission + benefits package including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, health cash back plan, Christmas savings scheme and more.
